Washing Sheets and Towels that have been used for massage:
Wash all your sheets and towels in hot water above 60 degrees. Always wash them in hot water. In the first place, that allows disinfecting the sheet, but more, to migrate the oil contained on the tissue in the water. Cold water, on the contrary, fixes the oil in the fiber of tissue that's when spots appear.
Spot treat stains on sheets and let them sit for a while before throwing them in the wash.
Use a good quality soap powder, designed for removing oil stains. All the soaps are grease removers, but certain products are more specific for grease.
Avoid letting your sheets sit with oil in them for too long. If you let your sheets sit with oil in them for too long before washing them, the oil is harder to get out because it begins to set. Also, be careful about letting dirty sheets be exposed to direct sunlight. If your sheets sit in direct sunlight, the sun will burn the oil and it will also get set in your sheets. It will begin to smell rancid and you will struggle to ever get it out.
High temperature driers will set the oil.
Caution: All oils, regardless of the brand can be combustible. Use caution when laundering linens that have been exposed to oils. Oils are potentially combustible when exposed to heat in a dryer.
Due to these sheets being brushed cotton they are likely to fluff.
