The Head Rest is very handy for if you want to leave the face cradle in when you turn your client over, the head rest just fits into the face cradle holes.
With the head Rest in place it allows easier access to massage under the back of the neck and for face and head massage.
The Head Rest is also useful in that it allows you to be seated in any position around the head for whatever work you may be doing, this includes things such as Healing modalities or Beauty Therapy work.
